Hi everyone! In this post, I'll tell you how to crochet a christmas bear.
This tutorial is a written pattern version of a video that was posted on my YouTube channel called "christmas bear crochet tutorial | winter and christmas crochet ideas".

sl st - slip stitch
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
dec - decrease
flo - front loop only
blo - back loop only

  • 5ply milk cotton yarn (thickness: 2mm)
  • 3.00mm hook
  • 5mm safety eyes
  • Stitch Marker
  • Scissors
  • glue gun (if needed)

R1 : magic ring, 6sc [6]
R2 : inc*6 [12]
R3 : (sc, inc)*6 [18]
R4 : 18sc [18]
R5 : (2sc, inc)*6 [24]

R8-R10 : 30sc [30]
R11: 12sc, booble, 4sc, bobble, 12sc [30]
insert eyes (5mm) between R6-R7
R12-R13: 30sc [30]

cut the yarn and fasten off

Ears

Leave a long tail for sewing, sew it on the head.

Hat
Start with white yarn

Cut the yarn and fasten off.

Use red yarn
R1: magic ring, 4sc [4]

change to white yarn
R7: 14sc [14]
R8: sl st, 2ch, 14hdc [14]
Cut the yarn and fasten off.

Fold the white part of the hat. 
Glue the white circle on top of the hat.

Scarf
Slip knot, 50 ch.
Skip the 1st ch, start from the 2nd ch make sc for each ch.
