In this post, I'll show you how to crochet a bat, and a good thing about this tutorial is, you don't have to sew the ears and the wings!
This tutorial is a written pattern version of a video that was posted on my YouTube channel called "no sew bat crochet keychain | how to crochet bat for halloween".

MATERIALS

R1 : magic ring, 6sc [6]
R2 : inc*6 [12]
R3 : (sc, inc)*6 [18]
R4 : (2sc, inc)*6 [24]
R5-R8 : 24sc [24]
R9 : inc*24 [48]
R10 : (7sc, inc)*6 [54]
R11 : (8sc, inc)*6 [60]
R12 : (9sc, inc)*6 [66]
R13 : ch 1, fold into half. on both loops on both side, make: (4sl st, dc inc)*6, 2 sl st
make 1 ch, cut the yarn and weave in the end
Ear
Make a slip knot, insert in on between R5-R6.
Make 3ch, skip the 1st ch, start from the 2nd one make: sl st, sc
Make another sl st on between R3-R4
For the other side of the ear:
Make a slip knot, insert in on between R3-R4.
Make 3ch, skip the 1st ch, start from the 2nd one make: sl st, sc
Make another sl st on between R5-R6.
Face Details
Insert the eyes (4mm) on between R5-R6.
Make the fangs next to the eyes using white yarn.
Make the mouth on top of the fangs using black yarn.
